I served as the stage manager for Jesus Christ Superstar as my senior capstone project at the University of Arizona Repertory Theatre. I played a crucial role throughout the entire production process, from pre-production meetings and auditions to rehearsals and performances. During rehearsals, I took detailed blocking notes for this complex dance-heavy show and utilized my music theory skills to track over 1,000 cues, as the show was entirely sung-through. I worked alongside talented technicians and a dedicated creative team, including director Christie Kerr, lighting designer Ken Phillips, and sound designer Matt Marcus. This large-scale production featured intricate costumes, props, a massive set, and a cast of 21.
